Defect Capture
The mHub module for defects detection, and their immediate, on-site capturing
CAPTURE AND ANALYZE
Capture accuracy using coordinates
on a grid
Maintaining production quality is one of the top priorities in any factory. One of the steps to achieve this is a clear, transparent and fast capturing of component defects. Exactly where they are first detected - upon removal from the facility. The accurate logging of defects, enabled by coordinates on a grid in the Defect Capture module, not only ensures an error-free end-product, but also helps to optimize further production. This module offers many options for data analysis and for initiating and documenting appropriate measures.

WHY DEFECT CAPTURE
Advantages overview
DETAILED DEFECTS ANALYSIS
All the information collected is summarized and analyzed in the form of diagrams or tables.
AUTOMATED INTERFACE TO THE PRODUCTION ORDER
The manufactured component automatically loaded via prod. terminal communication. Accuracy guaranteed.
DEFECTS FREQUENCY VIA
MATRIX LOCATION
An array of coordinates eliminates ambiguity about the defect's location. Frequencies in color visible at a glance.
ACTIVITIES DOCUMENTATION IN THE ANALYSIS REPORTS
Color-coded indicators for items affecting the ongoing process
of jobs.
MODULE DESCRIPTION
What is our Defect Capture?
The nuveon Defect Capture module was developed for use on a touchscreen. Defects on manufactured components can be documented as soon as they are detected. The interface features a grid under which the component's image is placed. The grid, which is intended to mark the coordinates of the defect's location, is highlighted in color when touched. This contributes to a quick identification of the defect location. Various types of information can be stored for each component, e.g. defect types, defect statuses, whether it is scrap or rework and much more. An analysis of the defects such as frequency, location or quantity forms the basis for an ongoing
process and parameter improvement.
Layers for clarity
Highlighted, numbered boxes on a matrix overlay combined with other selectable categories greatly minimize ambiguity
